Maggie Wilkins

Maggie’s favourite vacation to date has been a trip to India, whose exotic spices hold great appeal. It was on that trip that she experienced a rather unusual form of transportation, more specifically an elephant ride in Jaipur. While in Mumbai, Maggie was stopped by Indian Police and had her passport confiscated. Her crime? She thought she was visiting an area known for its Indian folk dancing when in reality it was more of a controlled red-light district!

Her brush with fame came on a 36-hour whirlwind trip to Palm Springs, where she not only stayed in a villa owned by Dr. Jerry Buss, she got to take in an L.A. Kings game, and party with the players!

Maggie left university to pursue her love of travel and took her first job at a small agency known as Kingsway Travel. In her leisure time, you’ll likely find Maggie walking her dog on the beach, reading classic Canadian literature greats like Margaret Laurence or Margaret Atwood, or browsing through www.etsy.com
