Puerto Chacabuco

Puerto Chacabuco is a Chilean town in Aisén commune. Administratively it belongs to Aysén Province in Aysén del General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo Region and is located at the head of Aisén Fjord. It is the main port of the region, a port of call for ships sailing to the Laguna San Rafael National Park and the terminus of a Navimag ferry service from Puerto Montt.

Puerto Chacabuco is named after the Battle of Chacabuco in 1817 during the Chilean Independence War.

“Our company has been using Forbes Travel for most of our corporate travel in the five years I have been working here. I have found them to be one of the best, if not The Best, travel agencies I have worked with over my many years working in an office. All the agents are extremely friendly and efficient, with a very short turnaround time on flight requests, usually within an hour or two. I have also used their leisure division for my personal travel and would definitely recommend Forbes Travel for corporate and personal travel arrangements.”
